SUMMARY:CANCELLED EDU: Workplace Sexual Misconduct Training
DESCRIPTION:The District Attorney's Office\, in an effort to prevent sexual harassment and violence\, created the Sexual Misconduct Task Force. That task force works towards reducing the number of on-the-job sexual assault and harassment incidents by working with employers and victims to ensure that support and resources are in place. The task force offers education and training to employers and other community organizations with three goals in mind. Those goals are to help organizations:\n\n(1) identify actions and behaviors that create a culture that contributes to sexual harassment and sexual violence\n\n(2) recognize the potential consequences these actions and factors pose to an individual's well-being\, productivity\, and general sense of safety\n\n(3) understand that sexual harassment is a continuum of behavior that may escalate to sexual violence. This community outreach program aids organizations in creating a culture that prevents sexual harassment and sexual assault and ensures that workers know how to report incidents and what resources are available to them.
