When we hear talk about defunding or reforming the police\, what would that mean?\n\n\n\nThat's the focus of "Community Conversation: A discussion about race\, policing and civil rights" featuring Minister Glenda Robinson\, member of the Longmont Multicultural Action Committee and founder of the annual Dr Martin Luther King Jr legacy celebration in Longmont\, and Public Safety Chief Mike Butler and moderated by Macie May\, editor\, Longmont Leader and Liz Smokowski\, chief executive officer of the Longmont Humane Society.\n\n\n\nThe Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with The Longmont Leader and Longmont Public Media to co-host this timely community conversation.
