DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating the groundbreaking of the new housing project for the Inn Between!\n\n \nFor 31 years\, The Inn Between (TIB) has been at the forefront of fighting homelessness in the St. Vrain Valley. Founded in 1993 by 23 community agencies\, the nonprofit has grown to own and operate six buildings\, providing 87 affordable housing units to low-income households. Today\, TIB continues to expand its impact with the development of Wesley Townhomes\, a new affordable housing project inspired and named by the Heart of Longmont United Methodist Church. The church chose the name based on John Wesley's powerful words: "Do all the good you can\, in all the ways you can\, to all the souls you can\, in every place you can\, at all the times you can\, with all the zeal you can\, as long as ever you can."\n\nThanks to Heart of Longmont UM Church's generous donation of a   acre parcel of land\, Wesley Townhomes will provide eleven 2- and 3-bedroom units for families earning 40% of the area median income (AMI). The project is a collaborative effort to address the ongoing affordable housing crisis\, which is compounded by a shortage of 2\,173 units for households earning below 50% of the AMI (Root Research 2021).\n\nWesley Townhomes will not only offer affordable housing but also include a community education center\, a playground\, and a community garden\, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.
