On December 5th\, the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce community will come together at The St. Vrain to honor the businesses that left their mark on Longmont this year\, as well as review what we have accomplished for you in 2019.\n\n\n\nBreaking from tradition\, we have changed the award categories and criteria to better reflect businesses and acknowledge them based on their merits. The new categories are:\n\n \nBusiness of the Year\n\nA business that has been in operation for at least 3 years and has demonstrated profitability\, growth\, sustainability\, and a commitment to the Longmont community.\n\n\n\nEmerging Business\n\nA business that has been in operation for fewer than 5 years and demonstrates incredible potential.\n\n\n\nLegacy Business\n\nAn outstanding business that has been a member of the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce for 15 or more years.\n\n\n\nNonprofit of the Year\n\nA registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has significantly contributed to the betterment of our community.\n\n\n\nDistinguished Service\n\nAn outstanding business that has significantly contributed to Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce operations of the Longmont community at large.\n\n\nIf you know of a business that you believe should be recognized in one of these categories\, please show them your appreciation by nominating them here. \n\n\n\nGuests will be treated to a plated dinner from Sugar Pine Catering\, and wine and beer will be available for purchase at the event bar.
