DESCRIPTION:The Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center's 2018 annual fundraiser will be on April 28th at the historical D-Barn in Longmont.\n\nA Step In Time Grand Event will take you on a journey through the threads of the cosmic tapestry! Step back in time to an adventure in the early 1900s. Get a feel for the Old West and the early settlement currently known as Longmont. With artifacts and historical treasures on loan from the St. Vrain Historical Society\, allow yourself to explore simple pleasures the Rocky Mountains had to offer early colonists that still hold true today! Immerse yourself in thrilling games and enjoy delectable entrees. This evening is sure to be a night of pure joy as we celebrate all that was\, is and ever will be CTRC! Share in the delight of the vintage sound of Thunder and Rain\, a local bluegrass band taking Colorado by storm! Come celebrate with us the power\, and magic\, of the past\, present and future of CTRC!\n\nIt is our hope that you will join CTRC in celebrating our long and rich history in our community. This promises to be an evening of splendor\, and time travel fun as we look to the past\, enjoy the moment and celebrate the future!  \n\n\n\nAbout the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center \n\nThe mission of the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC) is to change the lives of people with disabilities by promoting their physical\, psychological\, and social well being through equine assisted activities. The oldest and largest therapeutic riding center in Colorado and among the largest in the nation\, CTRC started in a park in 1980. Now nearly four decades later\, CTRC's Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) programs serve nearly 1\,200 special needs individuals each year.
