DESCRIPTION:Join us in welcoming new member The Kiva Center to the Longmont Chamber community!\n\n\n\nAbout The Kiva Center \n\nThe Kiva Center builds confidence and self-esteem in youth through nature connections. Our approach is to provide transformational educational experiences and a place of community and belonging for diverse learners. Kiva Center partners with schools and farms across the Boulder/Denver area to create programming focused on making actual change in their communities. We create high-quality\, immersive programs that leave the participants more deeply connected to their unique nature as well as the big Nature. Just as we value the unique gifts of each of our students\, we too offer unique programming you can't find anywhere else. We balance free time to explore with structured learning. We balance content with socio-emotional learning. We highly value community and creating a sense of belonging. Many students report that Kiva is the only place they feel safe and encouraged to be their authentic selves. We have an outdoor homeschool enrichment program\, in-school programming\, and after-school programming across Longmont and the Front Range.
