 The increasing popularity of Cannabis and CBD products has led to confusion among employers and employees alike as to it impacts on the workplace.  Cannabis, CBD, marijuana, THC, what’s the difference? Must an employer accommodate an employee’s use of Cannabis and CBD products in the workplace? Will use of Cannabis and/or CBD products cause positive drug test results?  This session will answer these questions and provide an update on the patchwork of changing recreational and medical marijuana laws in the U.S., including new laws in Nevada and New York City, which will limit the use of pre-employment marijuana tests next year.  Employer will walk away with a better understanding of how to manage an employee’s use of these substances.
