Public Policy

Public Policy members will hear a presentation "Managing Renewables in Energy Markets," from Any Butcher at Platt River Power Authority (PRPA).  PRPA is the wholesale engery provider for Longmont, Loveland, Fort Collins and Estes Park. There is much discussion on renewable energy production, but what isn't as well known is the energy markets making renewable energy possible. Policy members will also be reviewing a "Policy Priorities List" that will guide future Chamber policy efforts. Public Policy meetings are open to all members regardless of committee membership.
