Public Policy Meeting: Proposition CC

The Longmont Chamber will host State House Speaker KC Becker and Michael Fields, Director of Colorado Rising Action to discuss support and opposition for Proposition CC.  
Colorado voters will be asked this Fall whether the state can retain excess revenue currently required to be returned to voters under TABOR (Taxpayer Bill of Rights). Proposition CC placed on the ballot by the legislature (HB 1257), would retain funds for K-12 education, higher education and transportation.  
Chamber members are invited to attend this presentation with RSVP (space limited). Public Policy members do not need to RSVP. Public Policy members will be asked after the presentation to vote on their recommendation to the board if the Chamber should support or oppose Proposition CC.
