About Community Connections Project

We seek to support community, civic engagement, and to combat the problem of social isolation- which studies have shown to increase the risk of various physical conditions, mental health issues, and mortality rates. Through gardening initiatives and community events, we promote hands-on learning, local food production, and community engagement.

Our initiatives focus on education and sustainability while addressing mental health, homelessness, public transportation, and human-wildlife coexistence.

We serve a diverse range of Longmont residents, including youth, older adults, individuals with disabilities, families with low-income, and those facing challenges like mental health struggles, homelessness, and social isolation.
